Our Nursery

Welcome to Longstone Primary School Nursery.

At Longstone, we are extremely lucky to have a new and modern nursery building (opened August 2017), which provides an excellent environment in which to support our families and children.

Our highly skilled team of Early Years Practitioners and Assistants led by our two Early Year Officers, work happily together to facilitate and support your children’s learning and development.

Working in partnership with our families we strive to foster a collaborative approach in a mutually supportive space, where working together we can develop the best interests of your  children.

The nursery itself comprises of two indoor playrooms and a large outdoor space and garden. Both spaces offer inviting and stimulating environments for children to explore, enjoy and learn within. Our garden itself has been developed with support from families who have helped to create an exciting and beautiful space.

We are very lucky to also have a school forest on site where children have opportunities in small groups to benefit from being in nature.

Our current sessions are:

Monday and Thursday 0815 – 1445

Friday 0815-1200
