On the 24th of March tour pupils celebrated red nose day and nearly everyone in the school wore something red or wore a red nose. They did a joke competition and the children were all very happy. Lots of money was raised to send to Comic Relief.
In the school foyer there was a bake sale at break to raise money for the drama club. Most things were 25p and 50p. There were lots of delicious cakes to chose from.
Primary 4 had a visit from the Titanic museum. They loved it they dressed up and the guy brought a piece of the 2nd class staircase from the carpenter of Titanic. He brought a Titanic lifeboat plate that said on it S.S Titanic.The class got to dress up and do fun activities.
On Thursday the 2nd of March Mac-A-Story came to Longstone Primary School once again. They were wonderful and made everybody laugh and of course told funny stories. Thank you very much Mac-a-story.
